she asked clarification, confused that she herself hadn't been clear enough. but let's face it, terance wasn't good at taking hints. either way, terance didn't know this, so he would clarify for her.
he stood a few steps towards her, closing the distance more, only a few steps in front of her now. his ears swung forwards. he refrained, at least at first, from saying something outright corny or cliche... but who knows how it'd come across. "i'm not interested in anyone else," he said a little more plainly, and then, "i think we make a good team."
