She follows Derg's example without hesitation, though her own digging is tentative and slow. The movement hurts, but she tries to focus on her companion's words rather than the pain lancing through her with each move. It only takes a few minutes for her to stop with a soft Ouch!
She draws one paw away from the ground, licking a little desperately at the tiny cut on her pad as blood wells up around the wound. Her attention doesn't linger on it for long, of course. Her gaze is soon drawn back to the hole she'd dug, ears perking as she peers down at it and tentatively reaches with her other paw to clear away more snow and dirt. Another bone, she realizes, though this time she's not sure what body part it is. She leans down to fit her teeth around the exposed part, tugging fiercely at it — but it won't quite come. She huffs, frustrated, and renews her efforts after a moment; unfortunately, the bone decides to loosen just then, and the sudden change sends her stumbling backwards with the bone. She falls back onto her haunches with another huff, dropping it into the snow and taking a moment to catch her breath. Yanking the bone from where it was lodged had been fun, but... it'd hurt, too, and she finds herself in need of a few seconds to recover.
