Blackfeather Woods hollow coves

A soft sound penetrated the air and seemed to gasp from a coiled black tree. Parvati would not have noticed except there was a figure taking shape, slipping closer with a shy but practised step. She paused in her own strides and watched the thin figure drift closer and closer; so thoroughly distracted by her own studies that she didn't have a moments doubt in her mind.

The stranger spoke again, this time Parvati heard and understood. She gingerly placed the bundle of plants upon the soil - conveniently where a shaft of light pooled - and smiled. Do you know these woods well? Perhaps the gods had placed a new friend in to her path, knowing that deep down she needed one.
