She nodded. Okay. If you change your mind, let me know. Speedy was happy to help,  but she wouldn't force it; being nauseous wouldn't hurt anything as long she was still able to eat. 

She followed the beta's gaze to her belly. Despair and envy filled her chest in equal measures. She knew that she could be pregnant as well and even though she had always wanted to be a mother some day, this was not the way she had wanted it to happen. She couldn't be excited about the potential life inside her because it would mean serious consequences for her, and it would cause a lot of problems for Charon.

She pushed away her worries for now, knowing they would fill her mind later when she was alone. I'm sure you'll know soon, the healer offered with a small, reassuring smile.
