Like a large pup, he wiggled over to her, his body lowering closer and closer to the ground as the distance between them decreased. By the time he was in front of her, he was on his belly, and then turning over onto his back. His tail never ceased wagging, and his tongue lolled out of his mouth in a comical display. 

He was inviting her to play. It always seemed the best way to make friends, and since Lokie was toddler-like in his personality, it usually worked in his favor. Would it this time?
