as ibis continued to invite the stranger back, terance felt a bit of agitation prick along his spine. it was bundled with fear, mostly, that ibis would probably find this girl again and not have the sense to turn around. he hated saying it, but seabreeze and elysium has raised her too naive. he pushed the thought away, realizing his nerves were making him sound cruel. she was his daughter, and he loved her as she came. but gods... he hoped she could hold her own should the time ever come.
