As expected, Belharra's presence in the woods didn't go undetected for long. Just about to open her mouth in response to Mango's question, Belharra could hear thundering paws behind her. Jesus! This guy again. You might want to run. Loco, you know Belharra managed edgewise, turning around to ready herself for her attacker.

He was coming at a barreling speed, making him an easy target. There was no stealth in galloping, so Belharra was ready when Mal finally came into view, bristly as a porcupine. His trajectory was predictable, so Belharra smoothly stood still until the last second, to neatly sidestep out of dodge. It was just enough to the side that Mal's teeth would only scrape past her shoulder as she did so, drawing just enough fur off of her skin to get her blood pumping. Simultaneous to that Belharra stuck out a forelimb so Mal could trip and eat the dirt of his own forest what with all his bull rushing. That would teach him to run blindly into an attack.

Wasting no time Belharra lunged right after Mal, assuming his wild gallop's momentum would be difficult to rein in. Her teeth snapped for whatever was there, most likely the back of his neck. If he was going to go psycho, Belharra would give him the same in return.
