While Elfie's coat was a far cry from the brilliance it would be in summer splendor, it was still the brightest thing Stag had seen a wolf wear. He was magnetized by it, and stared at his packmate's pelt rather blatantly. Stag had come from a world of whites and greys - this redfire was something entirely different. Knowing he better look away soon lest his interest be misconstrued, Stag adverted his gaze and mumbled: "do you want to play?"
