Emberwood it is time

They were as one for the second time, and like the first, it was everything Grezig had ever wanted. This time it was even more, for pups would come of it. She closed her eyes and enjoyed it.

When it was over, she lay sleepily on the ground, staring at Kavik with obvious affection, a look she did not give to any wolf, even him, very often. The last one she’d looked at this way had probably been Illidan. She pushed the thought of the boy from her mind. She would have new children soon, and this time she was determined that they would not leave her.

And thus, the seed was planted ((hahaha this pun was unintentional ok)) in her mind, an ugly thing, a jealous thing, an overprotective monster. It was but a baby now, a baby monster, but it would grow in time. It would grow into a creature nigh unstoppable to smother her children and keep them with her always. And she would kill anyone who got between her and her pups. Maybe even Kavik. Maybe even Illidan, were he to come back. Maybe even Xizur, were he to crawl back here and show his face, wanting to know more about his mother. 

They were her children. They would not leave and go off on their own adventures. They would stay and remain loyal to her. They would not find the gods like Tizir; they had her. They would not wander off to forget her like Xizur. They would not spurn her love, like Illidan. They would be perfect angels or she would become the devil.

She smiled at Kavik, but her face had gone icy.
