He had taken the joke in good humor, but sadly more often than not he couldn't help linking every comment and every single aspect of his life to his father and now the mood had been ruined. It was an annoying thing to deal with when you're making an effort to move on, but hopefully one day he would grow out of his father's mind control and be able to have a normal, fun conversation without having war flashbacks.
