Speedy looked around and smiled as Syrma spoke of the new spring growth. It's pretty isn't it? she asked. Spring is my favorite time of the year. Mostly, she looked forward to gathering fresh plants, but she also loved how pretty it all was and she definitely enjoyed the warmer weather. 

Her question made Speedy chuckle. Do I need a reason to be interested in what my daughter is doing? she asked with a grin. But she did kind of have a reason for seeking her out and so she only paused briefly before asking: Have you given any thought to what skills you want to learn? Like plants or hunting? She wondered if any of her children would develop an interest in healing like her, but it wasn't mandatory or anything. She really just wanted to help them learn whatever interested them the most.
