She gave him much to think about, and all of them were things that had not crossed his mind. He had been content with their lot in life, unable to quite recall a span of time when Arcturus had not been there in that upper echelon with them. Adding to it should have seemed a natural course, but he found he had little substance to supply to it.

In the long and short truth of it, he had done better to heel with the whims that crossed her mind. He had what he wanted, he had fulfilled desires both carnal and not and reaped both benefit and consequence alike. For the longest time, he had not tired of it, but the fringes of such were also not far from his mind.

His silence may have been telling, too; he stalled for time with a thoughtful hum.

"Perhaps Dragomir in time would be up for such a thing," he finally said. "But Jarilo is deserving too. I suppose it would be up to them, and whether or not the time was right. One mountain does hardly make a kingdom." His features contorted then into a jesting sneer, but he hadn't forgotten about her desire to have a hold over the expanse of the wilderness.
