"Yeah"
There wasn't much give in his tone either as he stared at the large grey man with an unimpressed expression. What was the theme with dads here? They all just seemed weird and imposing or...dead. There was an offer made by Clay's mother to call for someone which Valour was amused to watch Clay rush to deny thinking that he was embarrassed before the message was finally given by Clay. First it was like someone threw him into an ice cold river and then as every second passed that overwhelming chill turned into a blaze that was focused in the intensity in which he turned his gaze upon Clay. Immediately stepping closer again regardless of his parents being around he listened to the discussion being passed around by the Easthollians, silently answering them and putting information together himself. Ursus was neighboring Easthollow, attacking Clay and making threats though about a week had passed since Clay was attacked give or take a few days and this seemed to be the first time the two older wolves had heard anything of it. "My pack will also look into it" he said distracted as the woman stood and invited him in. he was still staring daggers at Clay holding back a tirade of questions. Why had nothing been said to him sooner? He could have done something about it before he got too messed up. With a sigh his features softened just a bit as he looked toward the pretty woman with a brief vulnerable expression, her offer more appealing to him than an entire buffalo carcass would have been. A place to sleep that wasn't Nightwalkers where he was on edge all the time? Extra time with Clay? Someone else actually treating his wounds properly? "I'll make it home, these aren't as bad as they look and we have a healer there" he said with a small smile despite the immediate scream of protest inside his mind. Praying that Clay would keep quiet just to prevent an argument from breaking out on the borders he looked at the couple "If something happens at Ursus, please let me know. Clay knows where I am" he didn't want to say goodbye yet but it was clear he was trying to back out of the reunion, feeling much too comfortable meeting Clay's parents when he had to hide who he was.
