Neverwinter Forest i hate my boyfriend

This wasn't like dad. 

It was like some corpse come to life. Unable to speak, crawling like a wounded animal. Shortened, stunted breath. Arms wrapped around him and Caerus threw himself into Cupid, fully accepting the embrace and knowing then that something was terribly wrong. He tried for a moment to subdue the upcoming sob as it fought for its place in his throat, and then it came, and with it, tears.

DADDD!! 

He did not know whether he was calling ffor the help of @Mal , or simply calling out of pain for Cupid alone. It didn't matter. Emotion overwhelmed him too much, and he sunk quietly into the fur of Cupid's chest, still wrapped in his arms, sobbing wildly against him. Willing the universe that his dad would regain his voice and find his footing.
