Aphrodite seemed... genuine. It was clear to Taikon that she had a naturally soft heart. Her playful nature coloured her words with a lightness that made him smile. That makes sense, he said, I can imagine why that would be fulfilling. He wasn't sure that everyone deserved chances for love and happiness.  He could think of several people that he wished nothing short of misery for.
What about people who just prevent others from being happy? Do they deserve a chance to be happy, too? Taikon was curious what she would say. Like this..Donovan person. He said it without meaning to upset her. It was the best example of something that might give her pause that he could think of.
