It was during one of these expeditions out from home that he spotted her: his relief, a little dark smudge on a ledge down below. Dark as a shadow, but with the pale mask of an angel, and gaze the color of a bloodred heart. 

Takeshi made his way down towards her, navigating the mountain terrain expertly, like a pro climber. It was here he stood far from the edge of the ledge, gazing at her at she moved inward with eyes that were almost hungry.
