It was known to her family that Mira despised being wet. Grooming disgusted her, and being held by this woman disgusted her further. In the first days of being taken she had often screamed and cried like a kidnapped child would. But 'mommy' was good at shushing her, holding her down whenever she desired to escape. She was a little warrior, but ultimately still a child- and her playfights with siblings had not prepared her for the insanity of the tight grasp of a woman who wanted her.

The jaws clenching onto her neck, being so far from her family; Mira had few emotions- but now tears streamed quietly from golden eyes of pure hate, as she felt the most in her black heart that she ever had. Her eyes were angry slits of hatred, though she did not look upon the face of her kidnapper. I DO NOT BELONG TO YOU. Mira hissed quietly, voice slightly strained from the pressure that had been applied to her throat.

There was a part of her that wished to try her escape, but she could not do such when the woman was above her so, for surely she would be snatched back and clutched tighter to a point of choking. No- any fleeing would require seeking an opening, and Mira felt something dark grip her soul- for this woman could not be allowed to continue to roam, and harm. She thought of what Mother had defined as an enemy- anyone who hurts her family- and Mira decided she did not want to give this monster the chance to hurt her siblings.
