She pressed closer to him, further, more. Something old and delightful and disgusting and corrupt flooded his mind. He thought about all of it, and it threatened to distract him. Yet Zephyr is delicious, knowing exactly how to play him, exactly how to find her way under his armour. He exhaled sharply, her voice taunting him even though he knew that leaving the others could be dangerous. He knew they were meant to be on some kind of mission. Zephyr found her way seamlessly into his mind, and when she ran kisses along his neck, he mirrored her. Such heat was something he hadn't felt in years. She was like nothing, like no one, he had ever encountered before. He fell to the tonic — or toxin — she offered easily. It was all play for a time, and then he wanted her — but he was a polite soul.
