He was scouting out Kingslend.
Wandering around the outside of their territory, making sure that it would be safe to bring his packmates with him.
For their offering.
So far so good, but he wanted to follow the river.

He climbed. Up up up.
He looked on ahead, but it didn't seem like following the water to the source would be possible.
So he paused, sipping the water.
A howl rang through the area.
His head lifted and decided to investigate.
It couldn't hurt, right?

A woman stood, looking to him with a smile. He returned it with a wave of his tail. Derg wondered what she'd demand.
