Northstar Vale grainbloom

Tamar’s voice drew the young wolf’s ears to a point.

Snow had fallen in the vale and had left the world in a curious shade of white. Branches from the trees had been blanketed. The dark bark peered from behind a frosty sheen. Everything was cold to the touch. The water that flowed created steam in the cold air.

Antigone approached his mom with a shiver. The boy blinked at her curiously, wondering if she enjoyed the frigid numbness that must have settled into her paws.

It’s so cold, he breathed miserably.
