With a low head, he'd not responded. Instead, he'd just nodded. Slow, gentle, subtle nods while he followed after this Gunnar. Fadir. He could not get over replaying that title in his head. Over and over.

He wondered why. He wondered why not claim himself under a title everyone knew, and a title many cowered over. Fadir sounded gentle. How could someone known as Fadir hold the same might as one declared as Alpha? Could they hold the same strength? The same drive? The same power of keeping their land to themselves and only themselves? He wondered now, but kept to himself, how someone comfortable with holding a title so soft hold up to the expectations of a leader.
