Marina's health had steadied in the aftermath of her children's birth. She'd taken to nursing all of the children born to the seal hunter lodge, fussing over @Kilalurak, @Sirmiq, and @Sea Hunter as much as @Puffin and @Chagak. Surrounded by so much new life, it was easier to set aside the grief of her past.

Their teeth had begun to emerge, however, and Marina was eager to begin the process of weaning them. So many little sets of sharp teeth on her belly was the stuff of nightmares. Already she'd shed the weight of pregnancy under the demands of nursing them all.

Thankfully, this wasn't her first rodeo, and she'd picked up a few tricks. Marina called the children over to her and, with all the grace and beauty of any retching mother bird, regurgitated a bit of meat for them to try. She beckoned each of them toward it with an encouraging look.
