The bird coughs a sound at him, and words, but they are not familiar to him. Should they be? For all Drusk knows this creature had its own language; and as interesting as it might be to carry crowspeak on his tongue, Drusk does not. He rumbles a low note of frustration and becomes disinterested.

He lowers his snout to the level of the bird and then, yes, lunges! But he stops short, only playing with the bird and its reactions. Does it take wing again? Is it afraid? He chuckles and the sound is guttural like the last.
