Nova Peak amber, what will become

Rowdy's attempts at play were rebuked by annoyed grumbles and snaps. The boy was in no mood to be disturbed. He waits patiently for his mother, who hadn't shown up in what felt like centuries. Thankfully, he had his father to torment with his complaints.
And so, he had two modes: sleep (and wait for birthgiver) or have a full-blown tantrum.
Now roused from his sleep, it was a toss-up whether he would sleep again or raise hell that now both his parents were gone.
Hangry was utterly an understatement. The meal left for him is deplorable. He voices his displeasure with a grumble, looking to Rowdy, who also seems befuddled.
