It was fate. Perhaps this was the place, after all. They would find their sister, and the cycle would continue, as it always had. The scent of milk was thick here, signalling the birth of new lives, new souls. Or maybe an old soul.

Silent as a wisp, Lakhesis crept towards the smell, the den that held the girl. Her sister. Maybe. She would have to find out. It wasn't possibly a coincidence that the fates had arrived just before a new litter. It was just as their late sister had predicated, and the girls weren't ones to believe in coincidences.

Steadily, pale eyes gleaming out from the darkness, Lakhesis slowly moved towards the den area, but not too close, pausing a distance away and lowering herself to the ground. She did not wish to meet the fangs of an angered mother.
