Rannoch rose to the challenge, responding with a suggestive tone that went over her heard for about 26 seconds before she realized what she had gotten them into. Her smile didn't falter as she looked at him with raised eyebrows and a quickening heartbeat. It was surprisingly forward of him, but she couldn't say that she wasn't enjoying it. Her mate was a very sweet, very kind creature. For him to be even the smallest bit assertive was definitely working for her.

Which, of course, was terrifying.

Liffey said nothing in response - she couldn't think of a thing to say. She had been taught what this was all about by a very uncomfortable Fin, but that had been a long time ago, and Liffey had been way too embarassed to ask any of the thousands of questions she'd had about it. She was kicking her younger self now for not trying to find out more, though she was quick to realize that younger Liffey would never have been curious to find out what to say or do to communicate the fact that you were down to get some.

So, Liffey did the only thing she really could. She smiled shyly and nuzzled the underside of his jaw.
