It was clear in her gaze that she understood his words but her lips moved soundlessly, unable to string together the words she wanted to offer Cry in return.
"I...not...I" Her ears flattened with frustration as her gaze dropped. How could she tell him not to worry about her, that she had survived? That she was trying hard to be okay in spite of the fact that she wasn't even close.
