A sharp intake of breath met Phox's mention of Apple. She hadn't expected the she-wolf whose name she'd stolen to pop up in this story. It was a small world after all, wasn't it? Realizing she sounded a bit like an overexcited geek, she cooled her heels a bit and proceeded a bit more sedately, "I was actually going to pretend to join their pack to find out more about them. But it's like they knew what I was up to from the start somehow. And they tried to force me to go on some long trip with them without any other information. It was all really fuckin' weird."

Niamh's mention of the word "ambassador" caused the juvenile to glance at Phox and add, "Are you a scout too? Do you know Tegan very well? I don't know who let him be an ambassador but that's one of his trades, ranger too. Anyway, maybe we could explore together sometime?"
