For the most part, life had been rather uneventful following the brief excursion to that maple wood pack in search of Alya. Upon their return, Lyra had spent most of her time restocking her caches and reacquainting with her family. Though when Charon had returned, bruised and batted from a recent journey, things became interesting once more. Yami had mysteriously disappeared, Hydra's boy-thing, Dirge, had returned, and a Blackfeather wolf had been caught lurking in the territory. She hadn't been there, but Hydra had told her everything and a certain kind of restlessness had befallen the healer — an uneasy feeling like she had to do something right now.

So she rose early and began to pace Moonspear's trails at a determined clip, though had no real direction in mind. She peeled away from the path only when she came across Revui's scent, following it into the woods that surrounded their mountain.

A confused frown crossed her face when she reached where the scent was strongest only to find he was not there, but the loud click of teeth drew her attention downwards into a trench of snow. There, a familiar grey muzzle poked out from its icy entrapment, sucking pine needles and snow alike into the void that was Revui's mouth. So this was what her little brother did when he was alone.

She stopped a few paces away and sat with her tail neatly wrapped around her paws, staring at the odd sight with a mildly amused expression. "I can see you, bud," she said plainly, mistaking Revui's antics as a poor attempt at stealth.
