She couldn't tell if he was being serious or not, but she chose to take his words as him acknowledging that she didn't seem incapable of doing it, and that was enough for her.  She wasn't looking to recruit him anyway, otherwise she'd have called her mom, because Wildfire was the actual driving force here.  The fact that he thought it was her (because she straight up lied yo) made her extremely pleased, and hopefully it was something he'd mention if anyone else came around here.

Alright, bye.  She didn't need good luck, so didn't return on that.  She just watched him leave, then gave a little grin and continued on her patrol.
