The expression on Cyclone's face was a little queer though; Tuya wondered if this land was different from the rest of the world she had travelled through, or maybe -- maybe the teachings of her parents weren't as true as she'd always thought?

Her good cheer diminished a little bit, and she lost her smile for a second or two. You're called Cyclone because you're fast, right? And strong? And a force to be reckoned with? I mean of course you are, it'd be silly to presume you could hold the power of that name just because— but the more Tuya rambled on the less certain she felt. In fact, judging by how Cyclone reacted to her rolling commentary, the more likely she'd start feeling like a fish out of water.
