Eilonwy shuddered like never before, rattling parts of her body she didn't really know she could move, and still felt nothing. She was numb. The cut on her leg had gone fairly ignored up to that point, and whatever bruise he's gotten on her way there was simply unimportant, she just needed to get warm.

She was lucky. An angel had been sent to her rescue, an angel in the form of a small wolf, and Eilonwy lifted her head as much as she could to acknowledge and welcome her to save her.
