His ears turn up and then flatten back in annoyance. He had been enjoying the silence by the lake and now someone has come along to spoil it. His amber eyes light with embers and he follows the sound, blowing out steam through his nostrils, wondering just what the hell is going on to make such a racket.
No shame in these females, he thinks darkly, and begins to saunter toward them. He might hate women, but he also thinks they're quite beautiful. And spring is the breeding season, and maybe. . .just maybe. . .he might be a father this year. That would really show his stupid Father.
