She laughed, tilting her head to give the man - who no one would want to attack, at least alone - a look of somewhat bewilderment.
"You? Scared of me?" Her eyes danced with mischief, tail swaying with good vibes.
She laughed again, playfully jumping up to gently snap at his cheek.
And if he couldn't tell, she was in a very good mood.

"Ok well I'll find out anyway," maybe he was just scared of getting some detail wrong and feared the wrath that would ensue.
She hoped they'd fight side by side on the battlefield.

"I wanna fight," she answered. They needed to train, and she needed pointers on where to fix her skills, like leaving her flank open, or missing easy moves.
"We need to find each other's weaknesses ok," she grinned, bouncing away from him, expecting him to agree to her requests.
