The stranger introduced himself as a prince—the term was lost on him though, because he had no idea what a prince was. He was intrigued, anyway, probably more than be should he in a dark, unknown place with a wolf he didn't know.
He did say he meant him no harm, though, and Pheiros was much too nice to not take him at his word even though he knew he should be more careful. So he did as the other boy asked, and took a few more steps forward, towards the sound of his voice. A silver beam of moonlight broke through the shadow then and cast a glow across the stranger's handsome face. Pheiros paused and smiled shyly, dipping his head in greeting. He thought he should maybe say something more, but his mind suddenly went blank and he ended up just standing there awkwardly.
