With her ear-piercing screeching whenever her brother disturbed her during feeding or when her mother dared abandon them for 15 seconds to relieve her bladder, she was most certainly proving to be a handful.

Poor neighbouring @Tzila was likely wishing for peace in the approach of her own labour and @Lane was probably thinking that she'd never conceive again, as the tawny Duskfire yowled out for the ten millionth time since birth. On this occasion, it was because the force of her own sneeze had been a surprise, and of course she was going to demand reassurance.
