Darkness thickens like fog with every moment, surrounding the desired with a heavy cloak. No step shall be unheard unwillingly, each taken with great diligence.
Well concealed among the branched silhouettes, a mortal lurks. A transient sighting is feasible, intended in the slightest for one pair of eyes alone.
These eyes belong to another sought for a time untold. Long have they been observed, but never approached. They are not yet meant to know who watches. They will not know who watches. All in due time.
