It was a feeling unlike anything Selena had ever experienced before. As the life continued to drip from her gaping wounds, she no longer felt excruciating pain. Instead, she felt cold and her muscles became rigid. Hard to move. This was a chill that not even the sun, now sitting at its highest point in the sky, could rid her of. The winds pushed back at her, pleading her to go back from where she came, but the woman no longer believed in the Spirits. So she continued forward, dejected in body and soul.

Still in shock, the coyote mix would not realize she was at Death's door until a while longer. In a zombie like trance, all she could think about was the kind man that told her to find him if she ever needed help. @Omnium was her ace in the hole, if she could find him.

"Just head South to find me if you ever need help."

It was hard to tell which way South was at this time of the day. Exasperated and beginning to fear that she may not find him at all, Selena called to anyone who might be nearby. The faltering in her steps were no longer an every once in a while problem. Now, she could barely move without hitting the ground beneath her. With every stumble, her strength to get up waned. It was her last fall and her inability to lift herself up that drove home what her mind did not want to comprehend: she was dying.

The realization sent adrenaline pumping through her veins, an uncomfortable feeling of anxiety thumping wildly in her chest came with it. A final attempt was made to lift herself from Death's clammy grasp but only ended with a final collapse. Deep dark eyes began to form a milky film over them as they swiveled, searching for the remaining light of the day. It wasn't long until the anxiety lifted, her last breath left, and Selena enjoyed one final thought of her sister.
