Getting back into the Grimm swing of things with one thread only, so I shouldn't fall behind..!

With the scent of skunk long gone, Peregrine was once more a god. She kept her distance from him for fear of blurting it out, and watched Fox with mounting jealousy. The red mother didn't so much balloon as 'fill out a little bit', carrying her pregnancy weight with a enviable dignity.

Grimm did her duties and watched the lovers approach the end of the pregnancy with green eyes and a black heart. Presently, she was burying stock in one of the outlying caches near the very edge of the forest, where sparse trunks blended into the vast plains to the north.
