Might open this thread up to others after a round or two, but for now this is just for @Makatza.

Sometime after Makatza's clash with Sikuliak, Veteran went looking for the girl. Presumably she would be serving some sort of punishment for her behavior with the younger child. Full of childish schadenfreude, Veteran really wanted to see it for himself.

However, when he found Makatza she was alone. She had probably escaped her sitter-- she had always been pretty good at that. Or perhaps even the adults were sick of dealing with her, and they'd let her go. That seemed just as likely, given the unpleasant turn her personality development had taken.

"Wanna pick on someun ya own size?" he drawled loudly, using the superhero's line from all the stories.

Makatza hand’t yet recieved her punishment. Not that she deserved one anyway, she had done nothing but defend herself and teach some peasant his rightful place. The princess was not pleased with the prospect of getting punished in any way and she was fuming with anger over it. She wouldn’t tolerate it either and was keen on letting her daddy know of the injustice that was being served. Though uncertain exactly how she should find him (hadn’t seen him in a while), but she surely couldn’t go punished for what she hadn’t done! Whatever the adults thought she had done she saw nothing wrong in her own behavior, and likely never would.

She sniffed out Veteran before she could see him, and she watched him come to her with angry eyes. She had seen him at the scene of injustice, so what did the little worm want? She pressed her lips hard together. She was not in the mood for his games. Sure enough the little one of nothing wanted to play some sort of game and she was not happy about it.

He came strolling in and asked her to pick someone her own size. Talking like a big baby too.

He was right on two assumptions. She had run off from her sitter again, and yes, she had a nasty personality. Somehow, he must have missed that memo, but she had never had the time to spare for little baby. Oh, sure they shared a father, and in the that regard he wasn’t the worst of them. Makatza had little regard to anyone though, not even her real siblings did she feel keen on and their big baby talk.

She rose. She didn’t exactly tower over him, but she didn’t need to. She shot daggers through her eyes and wondered if he had really thought this threat through. She was not happy and when she wasn’t happy or getting her way, she was nastier than ever. Veteran didn’t know Makatza too well, but all he had to know was that things would always, always go her way one way or another.

”Big talk for a big baby.” Action and consequences were of another world to her, she had just tussled with someone smaller than her and gotten (wrongly) in trouble for it, but now she was about to do it again. She shot forward like a bullet fired from a gun. She came toward him with fangs open and ears pinned, no sound coming from her. Had she been a normal well-adjusted child she would just have tussled and played, but Makatza was too entitled, and she was angry for not getting her way.

She tried to bite him on his upper jaw, getting a hold of something on his face, bite it and shake it around like a wild animal. If Veteran thought he could seek out Makatza and try and bully her, he had another thing coming.

Makatza was the bully around here.

And no one did like she did.

Veteran mimicked her in that horribly obnoxious way that only brothers can manage, whining, "Big talk for a big bitch." The word baby had been substituted, of course, for one of those Bad Words that he would have been skinned alive for saying in front of Mom. He fought the urge to look over his shoulder for his mother.

Makatza shot at him, initiating the fight that Veteran had come to pick. Even though this was what he had wanted, he hadn't quite expected her to meet him with such a quick burst of viciousness right out of the gate.

He dipped his maw against her flashing teeth and ducked, so that her bite tore upward along his forehead and crown. Her teeth meeting his skull was jarring, as was the pain that laced down from the bite. Veteran pinned his ears, hoping to keep them away from the snapping jaws of his least-favorite sister, but he would have to act quickly if he hoped to keep her at bay.

When she had lunged upward, she had exposed her underside, and Veteran made a wild grab for her throat. Unfortunately he undershot the lunge, and his teeth headed directly-- but also rather uselessly-- toward her chest, an area of her body that was well-protected by a padding of fur.

His words went to deaf ears, her rage already built up enough to anger a bison, she would not hear any of it. Of course he was right, about her being a bitch that is. But no one called her that, but herself if she so pleased. Veteran wasn’t going to tell her for sure.

She felt nothing when her fangs got a hold of her half sibling’s head. No sympathy, no regret. She felt his tiny little fangs reach for something on her, but uselessly they god a hold of her chest. His tiny mouth couldn’t quite do anything there but make her feel a pinch and she was less than pleased with it. Makatza was the rightful heir and princess, she should not be harmed in any way! How dared he do this? How dared he think he had anything on her in terms of battle? She would show him that he was nothing but a little whiny baby.

His little counter attack did little to nothing on her and instead she decided it would be good for him to learn the value of not letting their mean big sister get a hold of your head. She began biting down. And not gently in the least. Had she been full sized and grown up she could seriously injure him, but her still not fully developed jaws instead punctured into his face, hopefully leaving behind some scars to remind him of his stupidity for challenging her.

She began shaking her head. Like a gator getting a hold of its prey she would shake him forcefully and hopefully get him off her chest. She didn’t like the pain the pinching did and she wanted him to stop. It was too late for regret now, he had challenged her and she would not back down before he admitted being wrong. Whatever he was wrong or not, wasn’t important. He just had to surrender and submit his defeat and the fact he was wrong to even challenge her.

No one beat the princess.

Veteran bit down on the bit of chest he had managed to grab, but the angle was awkward and he was unable to do much more than grip her tightly. Makatza's teeth had sliced painfully up his forehead and latched. If she had chosen to pull all the way back and tear away, she might have done some serious damage; instead she gripped harder and shook, apparently unwilling to relinquish her hold. Veteran couldn't help letting out a yelp of pain as she bore down harder.

When she began yanking her head back and forth to shake, Veteran threw himself sideways into her movement. The momentum of the two of them combined would likely pitch them both to the side, causing Makatza to land on her shoulder and Veteran to come down on top of her, his belly-side up and feet dangling in the air.

The shift of balance would give Veteran a tiny window of surprise to twist his neck against Makatza's grip and hopefully startle her out of her hold as she hit the ground. Veteran would kick out against Makatza with his back feet, hoping to feel his toenails rake against his sister's flesh. He would then twist, attempting to right himself in order to protect his own soft underside.

When Veteran gave out a yelp of pain it only spurred her on. Yes she thought. Scream for me. She felt the blood in her mouth and was not shocked by it, instead she welcomed it. Lapped it in and drank it as it came into her mouth and as Veteran suddenly came into her movement, she felt her weight shift. She said no sound as she landed on her shoulder with Veteran on top, but unlike what Veteran might have hoped she didn’t let go. She knew she had the upper hand at the very moment, she knew she had him where he couldn’t get away and she wasn’t about to let go of that upper hand.

She felt him kick into her underbelly and she squinted her eyes in pain as he clawed on her soft underbelly. It wasn’t nice, it wasn’t what she wanted! She wanted to win. She snarled and with all the force she could muster she pressed her fangs together on his head. It would likely leave a nasty scar at this point, but she didn’t care, all she cared about was the victory within her grasp.

She smiled as the scent of blood flowing and finally, she let him go. With both front paws she pushed herself upward to stand, pushed him off with all her might. She was bleeding from her underbelly, and she took a moment to assess how bad it was. Not so bad she needed a healer yet. It seemed like surface scratches, but it really hurt. She looked at Veteran and with a cooing voice, knowing she had done a lot of damage at this point on his ugly – now even uglier face, she spoke ”If you admit defeat now, I won’t scar you further. She cooed, smiled and licked her lips to taste his blood once again. Sick individual? No – entitled.

She watched him, awaited his response and held herself ready to attack once more, should he refuse to admit defeat.

Yelping and crying during a playfight usually signaled to the aggressor that it was time to back off, but this was no play fight. Makatza's teeth only tightened and Veteran screamed. There was an audible rip as his skin tore. Blood gushed down Veteran's crown and into his eyes. He flailed wildly, legs kicking out and continuing to land against Makatza. It was not a strategic move anymore, though-- he was a wounded animal, blinded by his own blood and lashing out randomly.

Finally, his half-sister let up for reasons unknown. Perhaps her jaw had gotten tired clenching against bone and flesh. His bone and flesh. Veteran scrambled backwards away from her, growing. He blinked furiously, trying in vain to clear the blood from his vision.

"Fine," he spat out. "You won. You're stronger." There was a slight tremor to his voice, which he hated. He swiped at his eyes-- because of the blood, of course. He wasn't crying! He wasn't!

It wasn't about him, anyway. It was about Siku. Makatza might have won the fight, but at least she now knew that she couldn't get away scot-free for picking on a little kid. That had to be worth some of this pain, right?

Veteran heaved breaths into his small frame, waiting for Makatza to go. No way was he turning his back on her.

I feel awful for doing this to poor Veteran, but here goes D:

"Fine, you won. You're stronger." She smiled. The victory tasted as sweet as his blood, and she giggled. He was a sight to behold, his crown drowning in blood. She looked over her handywork. Beautiful, just beautiful! She smiled even wider if possible ”That’s right.” And with those words she hurled herself forward once again toward Veteran.

Oh, did he think the fight was over? She said she wouldn’t scar him further, surely she could keep that promise, but the fight wasn’t over until she said it was over. Veteran was likely surprised by the sudden attack, he had made no motion to counterattack and so she pushed herself forward, her teeth aiming for his throat and pushing him toward the ground in an obvious show for dominance. She wasn’t out to kill him, she wasn’t murderous. But she wanted him to know his place and her superior being. Once and if he got into the ground underneath her she would let go of his throat and hold him with both front paws. ”And don’t you DARE forget it.”

See? No promise broken, just a little harm and blood drawn, no more scars. She was a good girl after all. She smiled above him and as a last display of viole- uh dominance of course, She bit into his shoulder to make him bleed from there. If the boy struggled, she would only make it last longer. If he accepted it and cried like the baby he was she would stop the tyranny and get off him again.

She was bored with him now he could go now. She cleaned the blood off her chin and cheeks as she looked him over and with a content smile, she left him in the dust, bleeding.

Now the fight was over and done. And only because it pleased her – and she was bored. She had had enough. Fighting was soooo hard, labor she didn’t care for, but the victory made it worth it. She turned her back on Veteran and left, humming a little song.

Veteran hadn't expected her to attack again, especially not after he voiced his capitulation. He had quick reflexes, and he probably could have dodged her if he had actually seen the attack coming. As it was though, with blood running into his eyes he could hardly see his own paw in front of his face.

He yelped in surprise as her jaws closed around his throat, crumpling instinctively to the ground. He laid unmoving as she held him against the earth, and a small whine for mercy slipped out of him. He felt Makatza ease off of his throat, but as he went to lift his head he felt her teeth sink into his shoulder. He yelped again, struggling, and she bit harder. After a moment he stilled, realizing that she was looking for complete and utter surrender. He would not be allowed to leave this interaction with any shred of dignity.

He remained on the ground as she pulled away this time. He would stay there, fearful and still, because that was what she seemed to want. He meant to get up and leave once she disappeared, but instead he felt himself slipping into unconsciousness.

...

It would be some time before he regained consciousness, forcing his eyes open against the coagulated blood. He dragged himself to his feet and limped away, wanted nothing more than to fall into the embrace of his mother and weep into her chest.
