All welcome but maybe @Lusa or @Grimnir ? Since she's creeping around the den, haha

It was fate. Perhaps this was the place, after all. They would find their sister, and the cycle would continue, as it always had. The scent of milk was thick here, signalling the birth of new lives, new souls. Or maybe an old soul.

Silent as a wisp, Lakhesis crept towards the smell, the den that held the girl. Her sister. Maybe. She would have to find out. It wasn't possibly a coincidence that the fates had arrived just before a new litter. It was just as their late sister had predicated, and the girls weren't ones to believe in coincidences.

Steadily, pale eyes gleaming out from the darkness, Lakhesis slowly moved towards the den area, but not too close, pausing a distance away and lowering herself to the ground. She did not wish to meet the fangs of an angered mother.

Blue eyes gazed upon her tiny children. All she cared about now was caring for them. Protecting them from any harm. She wanted to do everything her mother had done when she was a child. She would teach them everything that she knew.

She watched her tiny cream pup try to climb over her back. "Your not going anywhere to far with those tiny little legs," she whispered. This one seemed to be the most curious out of the bunch. He would be a handful. She grabbed the pup gently by the scruff and guided him towards her warm belly. The whole setting was calm and heart warming, which was fine by her.

That is until she caught the scent of another. She immediantly stood over her pups in a protecgive mannor. She assumed it was Ohen. He would not be allowed by her family. Not after his brutal attack on her. She didn't know if he wanted harm upon her young.

She stood there for a few minutes, body tense. Maybe Grim would be close by? Maybe. She slowly walked over her children, and headed out to see who it was. She was met with a wolf (well of course). It wasn't Ohen, thank god, but it was someone she had not met. She must be knew. But how did she find the den? It was so secluded, it would be surprising for anyone to find it. A low growl rumbled from her chest. "Who are you? Why are you here?"

He never strayed far from the den. Only leaving when needing to hunt. Now he was carrying a fox back to Lusa when he heard her growl. A growl rang from his own throat in response. He dashed through the trees to the entrance of the den. His little killer was facing a wolf he hadn't seen before. Red fur fell in a heap from Grim's maw as he lunged at the stranger. Jaws wide, he aimed to knock down the threat and hold it to the ground.

The question of whether or not this may be a pack mate never crossed his mind. This stranger was an idiot for being near his mate and their pups. Whoever this was would get a taste of Grim's overprotective nature. Next time perhaps this wolf would think twice about coming so close to the den

She instead met with the enraged, protective jaws of a father. Just after the mother emerged — a pretty, lissome thing with pitch black fur and bright eyes — Lakhesis felt a tingle at the back of her neck, large ears pricking as she sensed danger. It came in the form of a large, brown and tan wolf, barrelling through the trees with bloodied jaws parted. The witch barely had time to react before she was forced to the ground, pinned under the brute's heavy paws.

With a shriek, she fell, hissing and writhing before drawing in a shaky breath, clear with her discomfort with being restrained. Her tail lashed and ears quivered, though she kept a steady gaze trained upon the much larger male, watching a drop of fox's blood slide down his chin. She had been careless.

"I wish to bless them," she said, half-answering the woman's question.

To her relief, Grimnir was never to far from the den, and he had quickly came and seized the wolf by her neck. If this one was to fight Lusa, she would easily win. Though the pups were now out of her, her limbs were weak and she was incapable to have a good fight.

Her ears flattened on her head as the girl said she wanted to bless them. "How do I know you are not here to harm my children?" She didn't even know this wolf, and anyone she isn't aware of will be leaving with scars. She would not take any chances with her pups.

Shego came toward the family den with rabbit furs and an oddly shaped (and colored) rock. To it, feathers of a large variety were stuck upon it by some sticky syrup. She kept her distance, only revealing herself as the male, the father, went for her sister. Dropping the objects gently, she looks to the duo with suddenly woeful eyes.

"To harm Lakhesis, the measurer of life, is to pull the threads—your own, those of your name—of life taut," comes her warning, "The fates are within us. We come to bless. We need not be here to kill." Atropos had brought ends to others simply by speaking it. It had not been her who had done it, of course; some were weak of heart and when they heard it, their minds took hold, believed it, and they worried themselves to their grave. Other times, it was a terrible coincidence that they should die when she knew their time had come.

She noses the amulet forward, thinking of she and her sisters meeting. It truly was a blessing to all of their name. But if their sister was in one, that one cub would not truly be of their name, and not be blessed as the rest of the family were.

"The feathers represent the number of you and yours. In time, they will no longer stick to this blessed amulet. When the last feather falls, you must bring it to a cliff and let the wind carry it away. It will bless those of your name; give them a long life, and you many grand-children. Our sister, Clotho, the bringer of life, has taught us this blessing." And, as for the two rabbit skins... "For comfort."

He had managed to snag the stranger who had stood in front of his lovers den. She now lay on the ground between his jaws. The tip of her ear brushed his face as it flattened against her head. Grim growled when she voiced her reasons for being there. She seemed calm to him. That made him furious. Lusa replied to her in turn with words of caution. Pride pricked at his center. They were a team. Even the smallest situations pulled them closer together. He gazed at her with pure love and adoration.

It wasn't long before another wolf joined them. This new one spouted words of nonsense. Grim didn't catch a word of it. The meaning lost to his mind. It bothered him that now another strange wolf stood before his mate. He believed Lusa could take care of this one herself if need be. But he still didn't like that he couldn't deal with them both. He would have to make sure the one he was holding couldn't do anything before moving onto the other. That meant breaking a limb or providing a wound severe enough to keep her from moving.

Shego approached, said blessed trinket in her jaws. Lakhesis twisted awkwardly in the brute's grasp, head turning and pale eyes staring unblinkingly at her sister and listening as she spoke, glad she had made an appearance. Her heart hammered in her chest, wanting nothing more than to be out from under the man. As a creature who relied on wits and magic, she wasn't one for physical confrontations, much less so when she did not have the upper hand.

The male didn't seem to heed her sister's words, instead he tightened his grip and Lakhesis growled again in retaliation, squirming before laying still once more. "Let me go, and Lakhesis will ignore your mistake," she hissed into his ear, loud enough only for he to hear. It was a promise the Fate would make good on, so long as he obeyed. A grave mistake, to harm one of the vessels.

She fell silent as Shego explained the purpose of the amulet, of their blessing. She had wanted to see the pups, only a glimpse, but it seemed the parents were more protective than she thought. Hopefully the trinket would bring their sister to them, in time, if she was within one of the newborns. The girl awaited what the mother would say, eyes locking onto the underside of the man's chin, praying for her to be a spiritual one.

She watched as another wolf came to the scene, holding trinkets in her jaws. She exclaimed that they meaned no harm and they wanted to bless the pups. Unlike Grimnir, it interested her. She liked getting more knowledge of different important cultural aspects. She nodded gratefully. "Thank you for your gifts. I do appreciate it, but I'm afraid I cannot let anyone near the pups. Not now at least." She didn't let just anyone go in and out the nursery. "When they open their eyes, maybe then I will let you see them." She glanced at Grimnir, hoping he would except. "But next time, please, call me out before coming to close." She looked down on the wolf under her mate. This time was a warning. She wouldn't let them off to easily next time.

She went forth to grab all the offerings in her jaws and turned to go back into the den. She didn't want to be away from her pups for to long.

The intensity in which Shego watched Grimnir was something like the desperation of a stranded being striking flint against rock to ignite wood so it would fall victim to a spark and catch flame. How she wished the male would fall into this fire, feel the horrible burns her eyes inflicted as he pressed harder on her sister. He would pay for this, if he did not release her...

Lusa approached, and even still her eyes were upon Grimnir. They had come on good terms, but he took ill to them... of course, she could understand his wariness; she knew that any normal wolf was not allowed to be so close. But they were not normal. They were divine.

As for the womans last words, Shego at last looked to her. Lusa was intrigued and interested and best of all, believing in Them and Their true powers; heretics were always fated to die.

"We did not want to trouble you to leave your cubs. We only came to deliver these," but if Lusa was willing, which she had said... well, now they knew. But now Lusa could know, too, that their intent was not so horrible after all as well.

Shego was a terrible wretch; she was calculating, manipulative, and cruel; but worst of all she did not care. Horribly, not even for Lakhesis. Just their purpose. And Lakhesis needed to be alive for it, to aid her. And given it was her duty and her obsession, Shego would aid her.

The one he was holding whispered words of warning to him. Grim completely ignored her. She wasn't a threat to him. Instead he continued to watch the other wolf. It dropped something on the ground saying that they were there do deliver it. Grim couldn't say what it was. He didn't like it one bit. Interested in inspecting the strange objects, Grim decided to release the one he was holding. "If you move," he told her. "I will have you pinned to the ground again." He kept his ears positioned back at the one he left on the ground. If she moved he would hear her.

Grim slowly walked up to the other with the strange object. Teeth bared in warning at the wolf. If this one acted like a threat he would attack her too. Pausing a paw step away, he watched the wolf for a moment before lowering his head to take a sniff at the objects in question. There was the strong scent of rabbit. No surprise there. And scents from the bird feathers, again that was obvious. Other than that, the objects seemed harmless enough. Grim nodded to Lusa admitting there was no danger and moved to place himself beside his mate. Golden eyes shifted between the two siblings warily still not completely trusting the two new pack mates.

He let her go and, relieved, the girl scrambled to her feet, albeit still keeping low to the ground with eyes trained on the male. She didn't want to test the brute's obvious physical prowess, even if the way he accomplished things was by simply pinning them to the ground.

The two new parents inspected their gift and Lakhesis watched on intently, glancing once at her sister as she turned to look at the blue-eyed wolf. The mother seemed to accept it gratefully, thanking them as her mate warily poked and prodded the trinket. He was right in assuming it was harmless; it only served to draw out the Atropos. The others would be blessed, but they had even greater plans for the vessel should she be part of this litter.

Shego explained their intentions and, as the mother withdrew back into the den, Lakhesis looked over to the male once again. His suspicion was obvious, and she caught his golden eyes with her own pale gaze once before she quickly took off into the trees like a startled fox. They had successfully completed the task, but it had been too close. They — she — would have to be more careful.
