All Welcome
All welcome!

Kaskara needed to stretch her legs. Her stomach roiled at the sight and smell of nearly anything resembling food, and her brain felt foggy with lack of sleep. Add to that the fact that she felt the need to pee all the time meant something was going on. She wondered briefly at the night she and her mate had coupled, though she dismissed it almost immediately. She was not a young wolf anymore, and one night surely would not produce such results. Could it?

She tossed her head into the breeze, catching the salt air from the distant coast. Kaskara wanted to see the coastal area, but for now she needed to stay near the forest in case anything happened. She would remain close while Scimitar and Goldhawk were away, but after that she would seek permission to travel farther. She loved ranging, and being an ambassador was something high on her list, as well. Hopefully soon she could resume those tasks she loved so well.

For now, she remained in the nearby flower fields. She told Eshe where she was going and promised to return within a few hours, and for now she had the early afternoon to herself. Kas traveled along a tiny stream left behind by the heavy rains, drinking of its cool waters briefly, before flopping down on her belly to absorb the warm sunlight. After a moment, she shifted to lie on her side, for pressing her weight against her belly caused wild hiccups in her gullet, and she didn't want to produce any more vomitus today.

HELLO! Keeping injuries vague 'cause the thread hasn't played out yet~

He had cleaned off most of the blood, but it still clung to his wounds, dried dark red and itchy. The coyote stopped every few minutes or so to scratch at them, lip lifted to reveal sharp canines in frustration. He had considered turning around right there after the scuffle with the wolf and heading back in the direction he came, though knew there was nothing that way either.

So he headed inland, somewhere where that nasty sea-dwelling female couldn't find him.

He found himself in a field of flowers, and stopped to wonder at the strange territory. Hadn't there been dirt before? Sica looked behind to see swaths of brown before looking ahead again to see rolling fields of colour, like a giant had crushed part of the territory leaving the other half untouched. He gave a soft huff of fascination and went to continue on before pausing, paw left dangling mid-air. Ahead, another patch of brown lay, though this one was smaller and distinctly wolf-like. Her scent confirmed it, and Sica crouched hurriedly, eyes darting to find cover in the open expanse of land.

Sorry about the wait, m'love! <3

Kaskara was enjoying the coolish breeze on her belly when a wave of nausea threatened to empty her gullet once more. She sat bolt upright, ignoring the pangs that sent through her body, and instantly heaved. She tried to avoid vomiting on her paws, but she wasn't quite fast enough. She retched bile all over her paws and the grass before her, not once but twice, before she finally heaved herself away to search out fresh water.

If this was what being pregnant was like, she never wanted to do it again. She was miserable and unsteady on her paws. Her mind was clouded with thoughts of sleep, but instantly cleared when she saw movement ahead. She stopped mid-step and searched for signs of the other, but saw none. Had they disappeared? Or had she imagined it? Hello? she said softly, eyes and ears forward, straining for sight or sound of the other.

No problem at all! :D

He stayed rooted to the spot, watching between the blades of grass as the brown figure moved and seemed to...a sudden retching sound and a sour scent filled the air and Sica scrunched his nose. Had she eaten one too many berries? God, that smell was awful. He glanced around, trying to find a place to retreat to, but the field offered little in the way of cover. There was nothing but open sky surrounding him and the wolf.

He focused back on her as she ambled forward, slowly and rickety, inquisitive though still wary. What if she was rabid? He would be done for! A soft, clear voice rang out, easing his fears slightly, though he still remained hidden, pressed against the dirt and hoping the flowers were tall enough to hide him from sight. "Are you sick?" he called back, a question tinged with both fear and curiousity.

A voice returned her query, and she laughed slightly at his own question. Pregnant, she chuckled, shaking her head. Almost the same thing. Kaskara moved forward slightly, hoping to distance herself from the smell of sick behind her. She didn't want to seem menacing to this hidden companion, but she also didn't want to be near her own vomit. D'you know if there's any water around here? I'd like to rinse out my mouth. And perhaps get a cool drink, too. She wondered if the other was kind and just afraid, or if they had something to hide.
