Kendra watched what darkness she had inflicted on this female. One that they had tricked and based on her reaction tortured her even. Kendra was proud of herself, proud that she did not let this female die. Proud that she had learned something new. She was very eager to learn, whatever it was. She was still covered by that darkness which she would later struggle with. Much like her brother, even though she didn't know much of this struggle.

"Thank you for showing me, brother," she spoke politely. She liked learning from Cicero. She wanted to be taught more about the knowledge he had. It was part that kept her steady, a part that kept her focussed from all the heartbreak. Or so she thought, because in the end she was not going to stay around her family for long, struggling with her own identity.

He smiled at Kendra, unsure what to think that this was the sort of moment they would bond over. He suggested, "Time to go home, now," and he cast their victim a last look before he turned to move towards the Woods. She would be alright, their victim, in time, even if it would be questionable if she could walk again. A steep price to pay, and so Cicero wondered if she truly deserved a punishment of this gravity. But life gave and life took, and was rarely fair. She learned that the hard way.

He nipped at Kendra's shoulder in invitation as he started towards Blackfeather Woods, back towards the shadows in which he belonged, once more proven.

Kendra nodded back to Cicero when she was told to go home. She realized that they should leave here before someone would find them mutilating this female. Something that would not work in their favor. Kendra gave her one last look before she trotted up next to her older brother. It felt good in her grief to be taught this. But later she might question it. She was only surrounded by darkness so she felt like she had no idea how to be light. Some questions to work on later. Now she just wanted to go home.
