Charley was starting to feel much better, and his wounds were basically fully healed now. He'd been correct in saying he was fully blind in one side, for his sight hadn't gotten better with the healing of other wounds. The ragged male had seen his reflection, seen the cloudy eye and the scars lashing down his face. His ear was of little worry, for even if it made things echo on one side it didn't really mess him up as much as having sight on only one side.
Today he was marking the borders, spreading his scent thicker and swearing to himself that he'd smelled a familiar scent. @Zaavier, without a doubt. Had he, too, brought his followers to this side of the Teekons? Would a possible alliance come from this, should he settle close? Did the lankier man still consider Charley a friend? It was a shame he didn't come with, yes, but the King knew very well the urge to be at the head of your own family.

Aspen ventured out of the den once more beginning to feel more and more alive again as the days passed. She trailed between the trees in search of some company, more so her mate. She wondered what he was up to. She figured he may be at the borders so that's where she headed.

Not long before reaching the outskirts of the glades territory did she catch Charleys send and she picked up a soft trot as she approached. He was marking borders as was neccessary to maintain a strong presence in the woods. She approached head on and let out a friendly chuff but as she did that she caught scent of someone familiar and her ears twitched. Zaavier. Seems he was in the area, he mentioned starting up a pack and Aspen wondered if he too had brought them here.

Her tail swayed happily at the thought of a friend being nearby. Of all the wolves that could have a pack close to theirs. She wouldn't mind all that much if it was Zaavier's. Her attention turned back to her mate as she licked him over the muzzle. "Hey handsome," she said as she brushed her face over his cheek and into his shoulder. "It appears Zaavier is in the area," she stated, probably stating the obvious but oh well, as she moved to stand in front of/beside her mate.

Wanted to throw her in here too :D

Finally made it! Sorry for the wait guys! <3

He was traveling ahead of his band, hoping to select a fixed route for them all to travel through. Suddenly, a familiar scent caught his nose -- two actually. Charley and Aspen. His heart leaped with excitement as his head plunged to the ground, following the scent to clearly marked borders. He was impressed. He followed the borders a little ways until he found the two. Tail was high as it wagged with happiness, ears pricked and tongue lolling. His scarred shoulder had fully healed up now, but a large, ugly scar lay as a permanent reminder. "Well look who we have here!" he exclaimed.

Aspen joined him, licked his muzzle, and for a moment he was distracted by the approach of his friend. Rumbling happily in his chest, the half blind man reached out to nuzzle his wifes shoulder.
                  "Hello Queen Aspen, my goddess."
A charming grin spread across his face, and it only widened when the lanky brown man finally came into view. Like them, he was excited, and approached with a wagging tail and relaxed demeanor, but minding the borders. Hell, Charley wouldn't have even cared: Zaavier was a friend, and was at least welcome to visit whenever.
"Zaavier! Long time no see, my friend. Are you settling close by?"
They drew closer together, and the scent of other wolves was thick on Zaaviers fur. A pack, followers: he, too, had at least come part of the way founded his own home and completed his own dream.

Aspen turned quickly to face the approaching wolf. The familiar voice None other than Zaavier himself. She felt a wide smile crawl across her maw at the sight of a friendly visitor for once. Her tail swinging behind her though still high because she was an Alpha after all. Even though things weren't totally official yet it wouldn't be long. She could feel it.

"Hey Zaavier!" she said in a friendly tone. She didn't add much else because Charley had also added his little long time no see bit and asked if Zaavier was settling. She was happy that what was said back in the grotto was not in vain. Though she had no doubt that he wouldn't come. She too smelled the scent of other wolves and she wondered how many the male had managed to gather in his attempts to start a pack.

"Hey Aspen, Charley," he said, glancing at the pretty woman, then to her mate, his friend. "How have you two been fairing?" He asked, glancing behind them. He had already noted the borders, and the territory behind them seemed to be a decent one. He could see in the distance, the opening to his valley, and his tail wagged. They would be close.

He could tell that they were itching to know everything, as Charley's question proved his theory. "M' settling just over there, in the valley," he told them proudly.

Aspen followed suit, just as excited as he, and Charley trotted up to his friend. The one-eyed man reached out to nudge Zaaviers shoulder in playful friendliness. The brown man asked how they were, and then told them of his home in the valley, his eyes roaming behind them. From the pride in his voice, he had his own recruits!
"Thats great, Zaavier! We're absolutely great: as you can see, we've found a home in Golden Glade here, as the Royal Fire Court. Naturally, I'd hope our homes can live as friends, allies."
Nothing in his gut told him that another pack settling close was a bad thing-Zaavier wouldn't ever do anything to them, just like Charley couldn't even dream of being enemies with the man he once fought beside.

Aspen smiled as the male greeted the now alpha pair. Aspen was genuinely happy her tail wagging high and proud. Zaavier explained that he was settling a pack of his own just as he had mentioned but it was in the valley not to far from where the court sat.

Aspen couldn't hep but smile at the thought that he would be near enough that they could visit from time to time, share news from either pack. Aspen let out a hum in a greement as her mate suggested the concept of allies and friends. There to help eachother should they ever find themselves in a time of need. Though she found herself with nothing to add on the matter so she remained silent.
