When she found him, she was relieved to see that her wish had come true - he was alone. But that feeling was short-lived as she neared. His demeanor was downcast and somber in a way that Liffey had never seen before. Fear and concern gripped her heart painfully. Her own troubles were forgotten as she sped to his side, replaced only with worry for what had befallen him, unaware that the problem was actually her.
"Rannoch?" Liffey called as she neared, lowering her head to try to peer into his face, "Rannoch, what's wrong?"
