sorry for the wait, I’ve been busy with school!

leo had spent his time in solitude since he joined his sister’s ranks. he wanted to get familiar with the territory before introducing himself to anyone else. but today he decided to go and search for company. he lifted his head to call out to anyone within earshot.

Steph's head lifted at the sound of the howl, no recognizing it at first. Then, she remembered: her Uncle Leo. She wondered what he had been up to since joining, as she hadn't seen much of him, but maybe he was just keeping low. From his howl, though, it seemed like he was up for some company. 

Since Steph always was, she hopped up from the entrance of her den, and shook the dirt from her fur. She trotted in the direction of the howl, and it didn't take her long to find Uncle Leo. Her ears folded softly on her head and her tail wagged. Hello, she greeted happily. How are you adjusting? she asked, curious to if he liked it here so far.

he was happy to see steph come to his call. it would be nice to asl more about her. she was family after all and he felt bad for not knowing about her, or any of valette’s young for that matter.

“hey,” leo replied, wagging his own tail in return. “quite well, it’s nice to be at home again. how have you been?”

In their conversation, Steph would come to realize that she liked her Uncle Leo a lot, and would look up to him in the future. She would be glad to have one Uncle like her in return, since she felt that Xan didn't. She would spend as much time with Leo as she could, and maybe even learn a thing or two about her mother in the process.
