All Welcome
all welcome, will close after 10 days with no response
set at sikinik (sun) shelf at dawn
the spire is fairly treacherous, but the danger of the trek hardly puts him off — were he less steady on his feet, less certain of his body's abilities, he might feel differently. but he knows this dance (lol) well, and he's confident he will not miss a single step. so confident, in fact, that he rises from his frigid resting place even before the sun has completed its ascension, eager to continue his journey whether he can actually see where he's going or not.
his pace is dangerously fast for the precariousness of his footing, but he doesn't slow until the brightening sky suddenly catches his gaze and he halts all at once. from here, he can see the slowly-crawling distinction between night and day — if only partially through the cage of jutting stone spires, to his dissatisfaction. but as he continues, he finds the solution at the end of his chosen path; a stone ledge protruding from the mountains, offering a startlingly clear view of the western sky. the position does not give him view of the rising sun; nonetheless, he settles back on his haunches not far from the edge, content and perhaps preferring to watch the deep navy of the night sky as it brightens slowly and the fading stars on the horizon.
