Stavanger Bay good morning sea witches

he comes upon a large wolf before long, a stranger to him but clearly a packmate by scent. he winces slightly at the loudness of her strangely-worded greeting, head tilting as he tries to decipher the meaning of half of them. the dark woman moves closer, and the immensity of her size strikes him all at once. it seems her thoughts are in a similar place; her next comment draws a distinctly unamused expression to the groggy mayfair's features. he sighs softly through his nose, pushing the irritation aside and attempting to adopt a friendlier demeanor. his own greeting comes a little belatedly in the form of a dip of his head, tail starting up a slow sway behind him. now to wait for her to realize there will be no response.
