All Welcome
The Strand. AW but @Firefly

Grezig was actually out by the water today. She still hated the ocean and was regretting walking too close to the water because now there was wet sand clinging to her paws and fur. However, the darkness of the forest had been depressing her, so she’d stepped out of her comfort zone and gone to look at the water. It was salty and gross-smelling. Why did anyone like living here? She would never understand, but it wasn’t like she could convince the entire pack to just leave. Besides, she had her nice forest and that was good enough, she supposed. It would have to be.

She’d had a lot on her mind recently, what with just having joined Rusalka’s ranks and somehow still getting breeding rights. She was surprised a woman like Caiaphas would allow anyone else to breed, but was happy about it all the same. She took a deep breath—sneezed from the salt—and stared out at the ocean, wondering who on earth she was going to get to make pups with her.

Perhaps the only location in the entirety of the wilds that wasn't affected by baby-fever, was Rusalka. Maybe it was because the inhabitants were too busy nursing wounds to try and nurse anything else, or the general malaise that had fallen across them since the battle; maybe it was just the fact that their leader more closely resembled a chunk of petrified wood than anything worth taking to bed — alas, one may never know. It was the furthest thing from Firefly's mind right now, anyway.

He was making his rounds along the familiar seaside trail when he spotted the wolf drifting across the sand, and he was alerted to the disdain they seemed to carry with them; whether it was for the iracible ocean or the seemingly endless chill of winter, they were glowering from their spot in the sand and Firefly wasn't sure if he wanted to approach them. Was that a resting bitch face or something more sinister - and did he care enough to find out? Apparently yes, because he was limping his way over after a minute or two of consideration — and as he came upon the stranger's prone form, he sank with a sigh to his haunches.

Firefly paused more-so to rest his stupid hip, and the stranger was conveniently located at a good enough distance that he felt like he'd worked his sore muscles without doing too much to strain them. They held the scent of Caiaphas upon them and that meant he'd have to play nice.

So, he cleared his throat and muttered, You uh... New?

Wow this sucks. Sorry. I'm posting in between homework.

Grezig glanced rather uncaringly in the male’s direction. She had gotten breeding rights, yes, but she was not in heat yet. She was not exactly sure when that would happen, but until it did, the thought of being around others was still so… unappealing. She hadn’t even spoken to Illidan yet. She sighed, and replied, “Yes.” Yes, she was new. What did it matter to him? She kept her eyes on the ocean, wondering if he would walk away then, or try to speak with her. She supposed she was expected to hold a conversation with him simply because he was a pack-mate. Well… she would try, if he stuck around.
