Heron Lake Plateau Rivets and screws.

Rye was wondering the territory, getting a drink at the lake before moving on to just wondering the borders. He hadn't seen anyone that day so, he assumed everyone was busy which was fine with him. He was enjoying the silence and time alone. Not to mention the cool breeze and sun, though still cold he was keeping warm. He was beginning to enjoy the pack life, and the people he had met within it. The place was beginning to feel like home, and the surrounding areas felt almost like it did way back home. Even had similar tree, and the like. 

Finally getting through half the border Rye decided to head back to the lake, at a small trot but a noise caught his attention. It evoked something within him he couldn't describe and soon his trot turned into a run, heading straight toward the origin of the call. It wasn't long before he got to his desired location only to spot Towhee, Rye instantly walked towards her. A scent made his body firery, and his concern for her skyrocket. Rye hadn't the slightest clue what was going on, all he knew was that scent and how Towhee was emmiting it. "Towhee, are you okay? What's going on?" Ryes' voice was laced thick with concern and worry, he was rather close to the female. Checking her over, head to paw. What's happening, Rye thought, utterly confused.
